Winged Box

The body of this box is walnut and the lid is spalted dogwood. Thanks to Terry Scott of NZ for his detailed feedback on an earlier box that led to design improvements for this one.

Nice piece Mike,
Terry is a leading light at our Sth Auckland Guild, & I too have been drawn into his winged & manta ray creations. Fun to turn but you do need the correct timber choice & crank the speed right up
