Weeping Willow Vessel

My first twice turned vessel.
Weeping Willow.
4 3/4" wide by 4 1/2" tall.
Sanded to 320 grit. Sealed with Mylands Sanding Sealer. Finished with Maloof wipe on poly/oil/ms blend. Buffed with Beall Buffing system.
My first re-turned piece, mostly because of the tremendous tearout on the freshly cut willow.
I enjoyed this piece because I had an oportunity to try some additional techniques that were new to me. This included using a reground negative rake scraper (40°/40°) and reground skew with both a flat and a curve (35°/35°).
Here are some additional pictures of the Weeping Willow Vessel.

Thanks for looking.

Nice piece. I've recently, for the first time, turned some willow and know how challenging it can be to work with. Nice when it works out but difficult to get there.
