Walnut Bowl No. 001

Walnut Bowl No. 001

Walnut. 12" by 6". Oil finish, buffed and polished.
Thank you everyone for the positive comments. I figured it would be good for me to turn something more traditional just to stay sharp. Getting the curves on a bowl just right is a big pain in the BLEEP. Add to that I had not not turned anything significant in Walnut in a long time and getting a finish I liked was another pain in the BLEEP. I think I'll go back to anthropomorhic and kinetic pieces for a while. Simple bowls make my brain hurt.

A beautiful ogee curve! Nicely done!
