This was supposed to be an entry for this year's "Turned Green" show, but time and hand sanding got the best of me. It's Ash that was destined for the dump. The work itself measures 16"d x 7"h. All of the "extra" pieces inside came from cutoffs or core outs that were turned and/or carved. Part of the idea was to get more use from the cutoffs then just throwing them in the burn pile. I'm pleased with the outcome and have variations and offshoots of this in the works.

Intriguing piece. It draws you into it. I envy your ability to visualize so that you can make something this complex and beautiful.
