Experimenting with sandblasting and dyeing ash. Finished with liming wax and ren wax.
Very nice effect Steve. The sandblasting really brought out the grain. Have you tried a black finish (india ink or black dye) followed by a coat of white liming wax? It also provides dramatic results.
