Total Burnout

I added this as an example of pyro work on segmented vessels. This is a segmented vessel, turned thin, pierced and then burned. There was minimal excellent tool work and sanding involved with this effort, lol!! It’s 7 years old!!
Nice one Russ. Man, I was just joking about the torched segmented work. Eggs on my face! Incredible work.
I’ve done a few burned segmented pieces Michael. I have toyed with the idea of deconstructing a vessel with 144 segment rings; there’s a lot of work in those glue ups……one day soon, lol!!

I got your joke, no reason to have egg on your face! I posted this picture because you seem to understand this knucklehead well, haha!!

Right! Bahahaha!

Honestly, I assumed the glue joints would just immediately fail when torched. Total Burnout had to have been a bit stressful at the end! Enough to balance the joy of not having to sand :p

Russ, outstanding ! It has a bit a doomsday feeling, the only thing a segmented woodturner sees after the woodshop burnt down.
