From some spectacular spalted maple burl given to me by a friend. (The remaining chunk has a clear image of Thundercat in the figure, thus the name.) Ebonized Holly collar. 6"x5 1/4" with Waterlox finish.

That is some beautiful spalting - and the form is nice also! The collar is a nice accent. Well done.
