The Sun And The Moon

Black Oak, pyro'd, carved, and painted to mimic mosaic tile. Though, it might look a bit more like stained glass. In any case, this was a fun and time consuming project that gets me excited for the next version. Interior finished with hemp oil, exterior finished with satin lacquer. 7.25"d x 3.5"h.

You keep outdoing yourself! I seem to like pretty much everything you show here, but I like vibrant colors and I like Calabash bowls, so this one really stands out for me. The mosaic design is outstanding as well!

Alright Michael, I am thoroughly blown away!! The saturation of the colors, the detailed carved area between each tile, and the design is just unbelievable. I don't know how you will top this piece!
