Taste of Futility

The Bowl is Banksia Pod and the stem is African Blackwood and the sub-base is also Banksia Pod. The piece measures 5 1/8" tall x 1 3/4" wide and is finished with lacquer.

This piece was made for our President's Challenge for this Saturday's meeting. Bring a Goblet.

All comments and critiques are welcome.
Excellent job. I like playing with Banksia pods. I like the form of the stem a lot. A little hard to drink out of. :)
