Supernova

Inspired by the geometric form known as a stellated dodecahedron. Turned as a sphere, then turned on 12 axes to final form. This is actually a box. Maple, African Blackwood, Gold leaf, acrylics. 7" x 7" x 7"
That is a very different take on Springett’s Woodturning Wizardry! Nicely done.
