Sourwood salad bowl

Sourwood salad bowl

This is about 15" in diameter and turned green. Finished with Mahoney's Oil. It came from a dead tree in my yard that I had cut down. Wish I had let the tree service leave more of it as it turns well and makes a nice bowl. The color is nice even if the grain is a bit plain. Looks a bit like cherry.
