The one on the left measures about 8" (203mm) X 7" (175mm) high and an average wall thickness of about 3/32" ( 2.3mm)
The one on the right measures similar except for about 6" (150mm) high.
The tree was cut down live in September and these pieces were turned once before any significant drying could occur.
The pith is present but off center and the base is also under cut to a wall thickness of about 1/8th" (3mm) to allow the wood to distort without checking. The finish is spray on brushing lacquer 3 coats.
