This is my original design. Curly maple & purpleheart..about 12x8 and approx 800 pieces +.. 32 pieces per row It was all cut on a miter box as I did not want to sand all the pieces. White wood and joinery is a bugaboo, that I usually try to avoid, especially as the main wood. But I threw caution to the wind. .
