Very nicely done Hock! What material do you use as the overlay to mask the areas you don't want sandblasted?

Thanks,
The Sandblast resist- Anchor BlastLite™ Stencil #T226, 22 mil
I buy it from UScutter.com

This resist is great for woodturning. It stretches and compresses to fit curved surfaces well.

I wrote an article in the December 2016 Journal that describes the process.

The feathers are easy to draw and cut by hand. I cut some by hand in my demo at this year’s Florida Symposium.

I have a titan cutter that cuts out a all the feathers ( I will post a photo in the main forum)
It takes a bit of technique to lay them down without stretching them.
