Queen of Wands

Meet "The Queen of Wands", a strong fiery gal from my Tarot Card Series. The vessel was turned by Mark Hall out of spaulted maple from our yard. I then burned, carved, pierced and painted it. The inside was kept unpainted, so the viewer can see all the visual clues that come directly from the wood and it's grain. 8" h x 7" w.
Artwork and colors are well done, and showing the grain through the colors all just make it a well done piece.....congrats on a fine presentation. The turning and art mesh in a fine collaboration between you both Carol and Mark.
