Purpleheart and yellowheart twist

This one was a bear to finish. It went all right until I got to finish the foot, then the cut on the purpleheart was so rough it pulled the top from the chuck and steadyrest and broke it. Got that glued together and resmoothed and it came apart again. Happened again before I finally got everything arranged to where it held up to being finished.
