Patagonia rosewood vessel
Jaramiah Severns

Patagonia rosewood vessel

5.5” x 2”, finished with T&T Danish oil and buffed with brown tripoli

Turned this piece as an intentional departure from the round / spherical hollow forms I often create. It was inspired by some of the early Ellsworth pieces I saw in David’s gallery when I was fortunate enough to spend a weekend at one of his in-home workshops in 2022. I like the combination of crisp angles and rounded bottom.
Thanks, Alan!
I’m heading to Ellsworth’s next week for that class.

Great piece. But I love all your pieces. Love to see other views.
Thanks, Alan! I can’t figure out how to post addtl pics without a link :(

Enjoy the Ellsworth class! He and Wendy are great hosts.
