Charlie, yes, it is Vegetable tanned leather. If you want to tool leather, that’s what you want. I use 4oz which is about 1/4” thick for tooling. The process of tooling is a discipline within itself and one I am yet to become proficient. In short, cut your shape to be tooled. Wet it to the...
