Yeah, I love the visual effect of curly and quilted grain patterns. This can make it a little more difficult to get a perfect cut at times, though.

Maple and mahogany teapotI like the body shape and the textures on it. The lid seems to draw attention away from those--might be due to the height. There is also a nice flow of sweep from the handle to the spout. Maybe if the lid help emphasize that instead of interrupting it.
