Sculpture #4John, there's an old saw about woodturning being the task of taking a block and cutting away everything that isn't a bowl. In this case, you kept taking wood away, and look what was in there! Something very original and quite striking. Good job! -
BoxI love this piece. The photo has been on my computer desktop for months. I've been toying with aniline dyes but my results come nowhere near what you've done. Can you point me toward a reference on what sort of dyes you use and what techniques to apply them? I would be much obliged. Beautiful work.
