A Deeper CutThis is a beauty Steve! My only nit is with the foot--I would rather see the form continue to the base uninterrupted. Regardless, this one is wild. Excellent!

A Deeper CutLike you, Steve, I find the piece unsettling. That sharp upward angled, spear point-like corner grabs my attention, uncomfortably. It's not a folksy, warm, homey piece. The reversed angle of the foot, also drew my attention, and I suspect that may not have been intentional.
