Orange Agate Beaded Bowl,
Gary Ljostad

Orange Agate Beaded Bowl,

6"x3.5" Beaded Orange Agate Bowl. No finish just wax and buffing. All comments and critiques welcome.
The beading work on this bowl is great Gary. The contrasting wood on this piece is brought out well. I've never heard of Orange Agate.

Thanks Jeff. Orange Agate if from South America. I dont know the sceintific name, but it is similar to bloodwood. Turns well and takes a nice finish.

Beautiful.
Lots of times when I see beaded bowls like these, the beads deep enough and lack the depth to get the full effect of the shadows.
You, however, pulled it off perfectly.

Gary, I saw this bowl when you first post it at WoW and meant to leave a comment but for some reason forgot or got distracted. It is absolutely gorgeous. Very classy and well executed. I love it!
