Onion top yarn spindles

Here are some yarn spindles that I'm making for the local yarn spinners. From the top they are maple and purple heart, mahogany and maple, walnut and alowood, and mahogany and alowood.

They were sanded to 1000 grit and buffed. there is no other finish not even wax. A finish may rub off on the yarn and cause a stain.
