It's not often I see a piece with a dramatic crack that doesn't look like something that might have been nice but for the crack. Your finish integrates the crack quite nicely, making it a complementary part of the whole. It doesn't hurt at all that your form is excellent in my view, with no flat spots, just flowing curves, all the way down to the bottom.
