Cedar vase is approx. 17" tall x 15" diameter. This is my first 'real' carving and I'm hooked. It's entitled "Nature's Way" because the song (from the 70's) was stuck in my head pretty much the whole time I carved it.
Beautiful vase 'Jmarx'. I love the form at the top of the vase and how you featured the beauty of the wood. Cedar can be very interesting to turn with it's tendencies to split and splinter. The carving really enhances the overall effect.
