Mulberry Hollow Form

I am enjoying playing with Mulberry! This little piece is 3" in diameter and Wafer thin. I used a super diluted, white milk pant to lighten the sapwood and a baking soda past to darken the heartwood. Then oiled the heartwood and Rim. I hope you enjoy.
After reading the description, I was surprised the coloring was altered.....it looks so natural.....and that's what detracts from some turnings that seem to lose that connection with Mother Nature. Well, that's my opinion anyway. Great job here!

Thank you, Odie! I was very much striving to keep this looking as natural as possible while emphasizing the colors and contrasts. I very much appreciate your kind words.
