Maple Twist Bowl

Maple Twist Bowl

This 8-inch diameter bowl was turned from a block of Maple. A three-point multi-axis approach was used to turn a twist on the upper half of the bowl. Textured areas were added in the ring on the lower circular half and on the bowl's triangular rim. Gold embellishments added the final touches. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system
Interesting concept, Brian. The multi-axis process looks completely different on a bowl form. I like it very much.
