Maple Segmented Vase w/Lid

Maple body with walnut base & lid. 3/16" thick. 4"x6". 12 pcs. per ring. 2 wire burns. This is a production item for a local gallery. I have 8 more glued up in two sizes to do yet. GT
I like the overall shape but I have one issue with the design. I think the piece would be greatly improved if the lower of the two thin bands were moved up one segment. It would make the piece more interesting by contrasting the size and shape of the three sections. Other than that it looks good.
