Lotus Blossom

9 x 7.5 in Turned from green birch with maple lid.
No finish yet other than artists fixative.
Collaboration. I turn and my wife carves and paints.
Ian, Great job on collaboration. What did you use for the dimpling? I sure hope you didn't do them one at a time. That in itself is a ton of work and the painting is beautiful. This piece is a standout.

Dick, Thanks for the compliments. The dimpling, yep, one at a time with a dremel tool. Alane has the patience. I feel that I do the easy part. I realize how lucky I am that my mate is falling into the same vortex me. She is now pushing me to turn more than I already was.
