Lost Wood Fish

I used the lost wood technique using maple to sandwich a scrap center that was removed and the outer part of the sanwich glued back to make an oval shape. The fins are spalted sycamore.
Makes me chuckle. Not sure what lost wood technique is, but very creative. Maybe I can find one of these when the ice goes out.
