Lost Voyager

Totara, Hebel stone and Flax
Height: 1.4m (4' 7")
Length: 1.5m (4' 11")

Voyager pretty much finished now. I am much happier with the stone plinth, thanks to Gordon Pembridge for the idea of a wave design for the stone. I might do a little more rounding on the lower part of the stone but I think it look much better than the first base.

Comments welcome.
very nice

Great Job Robbie! This piece is VERY cool and impressive. What if the Voyager was not quite horizontal on the wave....like the nose pointed up a slight amount? I know, everyone's a designer....:D I really like this piece, especially the contrast of the outside to the inside. Beautiful!

Thanks for the comments guys. I had thought about giving it a tilt but I have glued a bolt into the stone, I might get away with a degree or two. Cheers, Robbie
