Helped from Above

I'm going to name this piece "Helped From Above" After I took the pictures, I realized that I have a perfect matching lid. I was too upset to think about that small but important design detail. This is the urn I made for my wife, Katie. The wood comes from a Big Island Koa tree she planted many years ago. The African Blackwood medallion was made by my friend Wesley Pilley , he made it on his Rose engine lathe. Katie loved those and said they added a touch of class to the urns.
