German Style Incense Smokers

I saw the “Räuchermann in German craft shops while on holiday.
Took a photo through the shop window.
Back home, made a dimensional sketch, then used many scraps of different wood to turn the pieces for the man.
The eyes, hair and feather were bought at the local craft store.
The hollowed-out upper part of the body is placed over the lighted incense cone, which smolders down inside, the smoke leaving through the mouth and gun barrel.
The made the woman (Räucherfrau)
Turned the small pieces, including the basket, stick, nose, shoes and mushrooms for background and the basket.
The incense candles were bought with different smells – Fir, Baked Apple, and Gingerbread.
