Faux Spalted Sphere

Faux Spalted Sphere

Slabbed maple that was stickered outdoors for a long time. Half of each slab was decayed and the rest was still solid. I milled what I could salvage into square stock. Sphere made from this, and the spalt lines were done with a wood burning tip. Color is oil pencils.
Hi Donna, these are great! What is your source for the oil pencils?
