Face up to yourself

Face up to yourself

Any resemblance to someone you know is purely coincidental, I didn't model the profile from a particular person.
Box Elder natural edge goblet vase, very little color, no finish yet. 5 1/4" across the top and 6 1/4" high. Anyone you know?
Looks kind of like George Washington...
Nice work!

Looks just like Fortuno Bastiano! The real question is when you are going to mount it on a couple more axes to make an entry for the contest?

Ed

George Washington is what almost everyone says, George. It must have been a subconcious recall at the lathe for me--who in the US hasn't stared at a quarter and imprinted that profile in their mind?
Ed, brilliant idea! A different face on each side :D Don't let me stop you from trying that ;)
Who in the heck is Fortuno Bastiano??
