Cottonwood Olla

Curly Cottonwood Olla (pronounced Oy-yah) with black, red and yellow dye and pyrography. About 6 x 6 with satin lacquer.
Great piece as usual Curt. Really like the little bead detail inside the rim. Someday I need to try one of these.
 
Very nice ..... gorgeous color and figure, Curt. I think I've liked every one of your pieces with the "feather" motif.
 
I love everything about this piece, but especially how the figure of the wood looks like smoke flowing across the feathers. Just first rate.
