Chaco carving on mountain juniper. This is the first mountain juniper I have added the carving to. I have always used alligator juniper for this series. Getting used to it but think I like the alligator better. About 6 high by 8 wide.
I really like the way you cut the top rim into place, separating the heart from the sap wood.
 
Your outstanding niche Jim. No reason to change anything, keep em coming!! This wood looks great to me!
