Tulip Poplar Vessel

Tulip Poplar - 10 1/2"h x 10"w. Gathered from a friend of mine that cut down a large tulip poplar recently. This is from a large limb. The pith was way off to one side (you can see it near the bottom) so decided to do a side grain hollow form. Shellac finish.

Sorry for lighting and shadows. Just finished today and have a market event starting tomorrow where it will likely sell so did a quick pic with room lighting.

Thanks Russ. I have a good bit left and with the pith so far off center I'll likely do more like it. Maybe a couple with bark left around the opening.
