Internal Beauty

It’s not every day I get surprised by the figure of wood. But I’ve had this coolibah burl sitting on my shelf for over a year and I never had the motivation to do anything with it as I didn’t think it would look nice. But I decided to give it a spin today as I am working on clearing off my shelf, and I am glad I did. This is some of the prettiest burl I’ve ever seen, and I’m glad I was able to work with it.

It is made from Coolibah burl, which was harvested from Australia. 14”x12”x3”
