Alligator Beads

It's been a long time since I've posted anything , me and my wife currently had our baby, she came early and we spent6 weeks in ICU ,we are now home and the baby is healthy and keeps us up all night. :) It feels good to finally get back in the shop and be back on the lathe. Here i have a piece of alligator juniper with a little nick agar inspired flare.
No finish
8.5" diameter x 3.25" tall
Well, I don't know about Nick Agar, but I do notice bowls that are pure turning, innovative, and devoid of all the embellishment. Yours is, Michael. Thanks for showing us.

Since it doesn't have a finish.....is the intent for food use?
