Wine Bottle Stoppers

Did these last week from East Indian Rosewood, Bubinga, Cocobolo, Bocote, and Beech. The stoppers are the stainless steel threaded ones from Ruth Niles and they are fantastic. I made the stand from Lexan. First time doing stoppers and I enjoyed it. It's nice to do some spindlework every now and then, helps work on my skills. All comments welcome.
Ed,
I just switched to the SS Niles hardware and my retail outlets are thrilled. I need to make new diplay racks. What size hole did you drill in the Lexan? I have been playing with the holes size and I must be too small.
Frank
PS: nice stoppers

Frank,
5/8" lets the lower O ring rest on top of the Lexan. I used a forstner at about 400 rpm so it did not burn or smell. Some sligh cleanup with an Xacto around the edges afterwards. good luck
