I have a handful of these 6” cubic blanks of claro, so am going to do a series of these hollow forms. Each will be slightly different, but recognizable as part of the same series. I wanted this one to have a more “inflated” look than the one I posted in April, so made it a bit more spherical and combined a smaller opening with a more pronounced neck. I used less shellac for this piece to let the pores show through, so decided to forego the white diamond buff.
