Christmas Ornament 3

Christmas Ornament 3

Turned a Derby hat, cut a mortise in the inside base to the hat. Cut it off, refaced the blank, turned a button to fit inside of the hat. Drill a 1/4 hole for the opening. Sycamore with a light yellow stain followed with high gloss wipe-on-poly.
another excellent ornament, Gary. Are you hanging these on your tree this year or are the being sold and/or gifted?

Jim-

Haven't put up a tree in many years. They are both sold and given as presents.

Odie-

Thanks for the kind words.

Gary

Odie, the feeling that you are having may be sadness for the little dead cardinal. LOL
Really cool ornament.

David-

The Cardinal is just sun bathing! Just went an looked at the ornament, glued it on its side instead of on the feet.
