Cherry NE Bowl

9” tip to tip. Parfix CA finish and buffed.
Terrific curve. Ever take the bark off? It’s more work but I was just thinking how gorgeous your bowl would look gracing a dinner table.

@hockenbery Like this? This guy had a catch while coring and came out of the chuck and in the process half the bark came off and I was left with a bare bowl. I generally try to keep the bark on if the wood is fresh, but I’ve done several without bark as well. It seems like folks either gravitate to the bare ones or the bark ones, like Chevy and Ford I guess. But the person who bought this one was interested in using it as a salad bowl, which would not be possible with the bark on.

Thanks for the feedback!
