Bradford Pear box with tigerwood insert.in a threaded lid.

Mike.........do you chase threads by hand or have a threading jig? Very nice box........when Bradford pear does not crack it turns great!

I made a threading jig and that is what I used for this box. I also do handchasing with 16 tpi and 20 tpi Sorby chasers. I find hand chasing more satisfying but I need to keep practising.

I almost never have cracking with Bradford Pear although it does move. I am careful to always get rid of the pith. It is one of my favorites although it can be rather plain.
