Box Elder Vessel

Box Elder Vessel

This is Box Elder, 7 inches wide and 8 inches tall.

The Collar is Cherry. I left the Cherry natural to enhance the burnt sienna tones in the burl.
Comments, suggestions welcome
Man you have absolutely nailed this one, Vinney just a fabulous piece, the form, the finial, the collar & that lovely soft finish. :)

Thanks Raymond. This one is watco natural oil, then 2 coats of lacquer, moderately buffed.. My favorite is Tung oil, then wipe on poly....I like the way it feels. The Lacquer is a bit more elegant though. With thin finishes it`s important to sand to very fine grits.
