Box - 531

Very handsome. Is the slot below the lid burned or cut? If cut, what tool?

Thank you Joe. The slot is cut when the bead is formed. I used a 1/4" beading tool for the bead on the lid and top of the body. The large bead on the bottom was done with a detail gouge and skew.
