BLM Vessel Pierced and Copperized Inside...

This type of piercing is new to me. It was inspired by a TV photo from a microscope. I wanted it to appear organic. In order to apply Rub N Buff inside I cut the roughed out piece in two. The joint is nearly invisable.

It's 7 inches in dia.
That came off beautifully, Wally.......

I assume the piece was cut in half after fully seasoned. Was it a horizontal cut, or vertical? You're right, the glue joint is undetectable.....

Some nice work right there, Wally. I like everything you've done with this piece. Well done!

The engineer inside me would have had the urge to drill or even use a round rasp to clean up those holes, but the artistic side is fine with it. But it would be a battle for me! Nice work!
