Blanton's Bourbon Stopper Display

About 3 years ago my buddy asked if I could make him a display for his Blanton's bottle stoppers. At the time he wasn't even close to collecting all of the stoppers so, I had some time to ponder on a design. After those 3 years, this is what I came up with.
The barrel is turned from a laminated blank of kiln dried oak, then carved, with a puck light set into the bottom for illumination, and then mounted to the base, where the stoppers sit.
