Black Walnut lidded box

Very old piece of wood, Started turning and the bark stayed on! 7" tall and about 5" in Dia.
I have actually made several of different styles, just happen to take a picture of this one before it went away. When I'm looking at the piece I'm going to turn and the bark looks solid I'll look at how round it is and try and keep the bark all the way around it. It's tempting sometimes, when cutting or rounding the piece exposing some of the grain, to cut the bark away.
